Empowerment through education is seen through students developing self-confidence and leadership skills by having a voice in their learning, & adults gaining economic stability and community influence through new skills to enable them with the skills to speak publicly, share their stories, and advocate for themselves and their communities.

Veterans face unique challenges when transitioning to civilian life, including adjusting to new environments, finding meaningful employment, and building new relationships outside of the military. Mentorship is especially effective when both the mentor and mentee share similar experiences, making veteran-to-veteran mentorship a particularly powerful tool for success.
